Flash fiction, I've been told, is a very short story. I wonder if there is a definitive definition on this moniker? Either way, I love the concept. I tend to have full fire enthusiasm when it comes to a story. The problem is the fire burns too fast. I lose interest in a short span of time. This is, without a doubt, the reason flash fiction interests me. I can blast through a story then move to the next point of interest. Some of them have really turned out well. They also benefit as nice little writing exercises. Who knows? Maybe I can combine them all into a nice compendium.
